Further I had hoped my case had been already

dealt with, as can be seen by the decision of the Board

in the attached copy of their letter No.389/M of the

6th of February 1903 to me.

In the meantime as the case has been reopened,

I trust that His Excellency will be pleased to take a

favourable view of the matter, as in all other respects

I think my character will compare favourably with any

other man in the Department.
